Five golden rules for increasing quality
Rule 1: Transparency ensures good order
An extensive management system for planning, steering and control makes sure that the members of the management team know exactly where they are standing and what is expected of them.
Rule 2: Clear goals for every employee
To be motivated, the employees need clear performance and quality goals communicated to them unambiguously.
Rule 3: Thinking ahead, not running behind
A large part of the management efforts must focus on preventing problems before they appear.
Rule 4: The whole is the sum of the parts
The company as a whole can only be managed by detailed supervision of the parts.
Rule 5: In cases of routine-blindness, call in external specialists early
External consultants contribute the necessary objective, neutral point of view that allows us to exploit productivity potential.
Outsourcing means that work done in-house so far is delegated to an external service provider. "Outsourcing" is an artificial term made up of three words: Out(side) (re)source (u)sing.
Cost saving: Outsourcing optimizes logistics processes
The outsourcing concepts define clear interfaces and processes.
Our outsourcing concept consists of two modules:
Module I: Conception and optimization phase
Analysis of the current situation. To this end, the entire logistics chain is determined and mirrored in a work flow software. Optimization of the processes: Based on this data and in close coordination with all stakeholders, the steps to optimization are classified as short-, medium- and long-term and are then implemented. Implementation in an EDP concept: RO-Sped not only creates the concept but also supports its customers in the implementation. In addition to the organizational implementation (e.g. by standardized forms), implementation primarily takes place in an Intranet-based EDP program.
Module II: Day-to-day implementation and support in practical work
After successful design and optimization, the improvements have to be implemented in everyday work. This is done based on an organizational manual which addresses all stakeholders. In RO-Sped, the customer has a central contact who is available to answer all questions that may arise. Quality agreements are concluded between RO-Sped and the customer. Now, specific information (so-called "Emergency info") is only required in case of deviations from the defined processes. RO-Sped centrally controls all documents such as consignment and delivery notes, pallet notes, etc. and the customer can inspect the documents at any time in the Intranet.
Winners in global competition
Benefits for everybody involved
At first glance, the processes always appear clear and logical. "This is how we do it round here, and it has always worked fine (till now)." Our analyses and the visualization of the logistics processes make weak points visible immediately. Weak points is where you lose in global competition. Weak points cost jobs, sometimes even the continuity of a company. We prevent any downward trend from an early stage.
Assuring quality long-term: DIN EN ISO 9001:2000
RO-Sped very intensively looks into the customers' processes and products and knows the peculiarities of the individual industries. Working exclusively on the basis of DIN EN ISO 9001, RO-Sped carries out extensive logging and constant quality improvement for its customers. With its longstanding experience, RO-Sped helps its customers to standardize their documents and processes. We have highly motivated employees and an individually attuned organization.
They enable us to handle your orders safely and fast and to reliably process all your data, also at short notice. RO-Sped's sophisticated EDP systems make it possible to meet the high requirements and execute changes flexibly and quickly.
Together we're strong
For many years, RO-Sped has been successful in finding solutions. We offer you our special mix of methodology and competence, experience and innovative vigour. Using our knowledge about the international markets and sophisticated tools, we will make your logistics project a success.
Project management – the modules for the customers
RO-Sped customers have the following options: Moderation of the in-house team only; the entire technical coordination of the project as a whole; or temporary management for the introduction and transition phase. In the course of this work, we also implement and optimize existing concepts.
Logistics is a classical cross-section function
Our project management will support you in the follow-up of the material and information chain from the supplier's through your company up to the customer's. Cross-sectoral and neutral structures and processes must be optimized. To develop consistent solutions, you must have a sure instinct, integration ability, international experience, lateral thinking capability, and be able to communicate innovative models and new technologies to the staff, and implement them together with the employees within a short time.
The evidence has been provided: Environmental protection pays off...
In the frame of a customer- and requirement-oriented concept, savings of more than 100,000.00 EUR were realized by the successful PROJECT MANAGEMENT of RO-Sped.
The transports across the Alps were reduced from 84 trucks to 12 trucks per action. Everybody's needs are met: First, of course, the customer's, but also those of the environment and of RO-Sped.
